Burrata Caprese Salad

This burrata caprese salad is a twist on a classic caprese salad, and is a
fantastic way to showcase the best of summer's ripe and flavorful tomatoes from
your garden, CSA, or farmer's market.

🧂 Ingredients

3 large heirloom tomatoes

(heirloom tomatoes vary in size, use more small tomatoes if needed)
4 balls burrata cheese
½ cup fresh basil leaves
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
¾ tsp flaky sea salt (Maldon etc)
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
½ tsp dried oregano leaves

1 tbsp parsley or microgreens

Instructions

1 Wash and slice the fresh tomatoes into half-moon slices. Arrange the slices
around the edges of salad plates or a serving platter.
2 Center a burrata cheese ball on each plate and add the basil leaves, tucking
them between tomato slices.
3 Drizzle each plate with olive oil, and sprinkle the cheese and tomatoes with the
seasonings.
4 Serve immediately.
