Pickle grilled cheese

This easy pickle grilled cheese sandwich recipe is the perfect option for days
where you want to whip up a quick lunch that has a little bit of pizzazz. This
simple sandwich recipe is made with shredded cheese, cream cheese, dill, and of
course some diced pickles.

Instructions

1 Heat a flat nonstick pan or skillet over medium low to medium heat. Add some
butter to the skillet and allow it to melt.
2 Fold the dill into the cream cheese.
3 Mince the pickles into small pieces.
4 Lightly toast the bread on one side by placing it in the pan to cook. When the
bread is done, each slice should have a light golden brown color on one side.

This should take no more than a few minutes. If it takes a long time for the
bread to reach a light golden brown color, you should increase the heat on your
stovetop. If it takes less than a few minutes for the bread to develop some
color, you may need to reduce the heat.
5 Assemble the grilled cheese sandwiches. Start by smearing some cream cheese on
the toasted side of the bread. Do this for half of the slices of bread.

After that, spread the pickles and cheese on top of the cream cheese. Again,
this should only be done to half of the slices of bread.

When you are done with that, top each sandwich off with another slice of bread.
Place the toasted side of the bread face down so that the toasted side of the
bread is touching the toppings.
6 Cook the grilled cheese sandwiches on one side until the cheese starts to
partially melt and the bread turns a deep golden brown color. This should take
no more than a few minutes.

Flip the sandwiches over and cook them on the other side until the cheese is
mostly melted and the other side of the bread also has a nice golden brown
color.
7 Salt the outside of the sandwiches and serve.
