Shrimp Sesame Noodles Recipe

Shrimp Sesame Noodles is an easy recipe that the whole family will love. Tasty
noodles tossed in a sesame-soy sauce and mixed with shrimp.

Instructions

1 Peel and clean your shrimp. Set them aside and prepare the marinade.
2 Peel both the garlic cloves and ginger needed in this recipe (including the
garlic needed for the noodles). Mince the garlic and set aside ⅓ of it for
later. Grate the ginger. Make sure to keep the juices.
3 In a bowl, mix together the remaining ⅔ of garlic, grated ginger, 2 tablespoons
of low sodium soy sauce and sesame oil. After the sauce has been well combines,
add in the shrimp and stir to coat them evenly. Let the shrimp marinate for 5 to
10 minutes.
4 For the sesame sauce, mix together all the sauce ingredients using a whisk.
Remember you minced the clove of garlic already when preparing the shrimp.
Continuing whisking until the mixture looks smooth.
5 Prepare your noodles according to the pack instructions. Rinse them under
running cold water and strain. Then set aside.
6 While the noodles are cooking, prepare your garnishes. Toast your sesame seeds
for 10-15 minutes and slice up the green onion.
7 Now it’s time to cook the shrimp. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over
medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and saute them for 4 to 5 minutes or until they
are fully cooked through. After, transfer the shrimp to a bowl.
8 Once your noodles are strained, toss them together with the sesame sauce in a
large bowl. Make sure all the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
9 To serve, portion the noodles into serving bowls and add a generous amount of
shrimp to each one. Sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds and garnish with green
onion. Now it’s ready to eat! Enjoy!
