Instructions
1
Boil 200 ml of your water and add the black tea leaves to it.
2
Let this rest for about 10 minutes and then take out the tea leaves.
3
Add the brown sugar to the tea, and give it a good stir. Let the tea cool down
completely.
4
Add to a mason jar the starter komucha. I add some from my previous batch that I
made. A store bought one will work too. Just make sure this is a basic flavour.
5
Then add the other 1800 ml of colt water and the cooled down black tea.
6
Add your scoby to it. Make sure you add this to a cold mixture. If the scoby
gets in tough with hot water, it will die.
7
Cover with a coton cloth and an elastic.
8
Let this sit for abour 14 to 21 days on your kitchen counter. Make sure it does
not have direct sunlight shining on it. Mine is living on top of my Kitchen
cubboard.
9
After the amount of time (and taste-trying) just strain it off and start all
over again.
