🧂 Ingredients

1 Soften yeast in water for several minutes.
2 Stir in Starter, oil, and cornmeal.
3 Gradually stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough.
4 Turn dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead for 5 minutes adding
enough flour to prevent sticking.
5 Place dough into a greased bowl and turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and
let rise in a warm place till doubled in size (about 1 1/2 hours).
6 Punch down and divide in half and knead gently until smooth. Shape dough into
rounds and transfer to lightly oiled skillets. Again cover with plastic wrap and
let rise an additional 1 1/2 hours.
7 Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until top is browned. Remove to cooling racks.
