Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 350°.
2
Place your apples, blackberries, and strawberries in a saute pan with 1 cup of
water. Turn the heat to about medium, just enough to get the water simmering.
Cook at a simmer for about 10 minutes, until the apples are soft.
3
While your fruit is cooking, combine your oats, almonds, cinnamon, vanilla, and
syrup in a medium bowl. Stir together until the syrup is evenly distributed.
4
Once your fruit has softened, use a slotted spoon and place your fruit in the
bottom of a 9"x9" baking dish in an even layer. You do not want to add the
liquid the fruit is cooked.
5
Then top your fruit with your oat mixture, spreading evenly over top. No need to
pat down just spread loosely over top.
6
Bake for 20-25 until the top has started to turn a darker brown and crisped up.
7
Serve on its own, with your favorite yogurt, or ice cream!
