Chinese Pasta: a Hot and Sour Quickfix

Instructions

1 Combine the ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, black pepper and
chopped green chili. Marinate chicken in this mixture while you prepare the
rest of the recipe.
2 Cook pasta to package directions, drain and set aside.
3 In a pot, add instant soup packet contents, 750ml water (or as needed to prepare
3 cups of soup), vegetables, onion and green bell pepper. Bring to a boil,
stirring occasionally.
4 While the soup is coming to a boil, heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the
chicken. When brown and cooked through, add to the soup. Cook for three
minutes.
5 Add the beaten egg slowly into the soup, stirring continuously. Cook for two
more minutes.
6 Add the hot, Worcestershire and soy sauces and stir to combine.
7 Combine prepared mixture with pasta in serving dish.
8 Garnish with spring onion and season with black pepper to taste.
