Easy Homemade Hummus - Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan

🧂 Ingredients

1 can chickpeas

half drained, keep half of the aquafaba/chickpea juice in the can & add in with chickpeas
2-3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp tahini
juice from 1/2 a lemon

this is roughly 2 tbsp
1/2 tbsp ground cumin
1/4 tbsp paprika
salt

to taste

Instructions

1 In a food processor or blender, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice,
garlic, olive oil, ground cumin, paprika and salt.
2 Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy
3 If the hummus seems too thick, gradually add water or aquafaba (chickpea juice)
1 tablespoon at a time and blend until desired consistency is reached.
4 Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed
