Simple Italian Tomato Sauce

Incredible simple Italian tomato sauce for pasta, pizza or whatever else. This
is a great sauce base for many other sauces, too.

🧂 Ingredients

1 In a medium size pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat
2 Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 4 minutes
3 When the onion is soft, add the garlic and half of the Italian seasoning.
4 Saute for about 3 minutes stirring frequently.
5 Add the crushed tomatoes
6 Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and the rest of the Italian seasoning
7 Turn the heat up and stir the sauce frequently until you see it just starting to
bubble.
8 Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally
9 Taste and reseason with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder if it
needs it.
