1 3/4 c
broth, chicken or vegetable
1 15 oz. can
refried beans
I prefer refried black beans
1 15 oz. can
tomatoes with chipotle or jalapeño peppers
for a mild version use tomatoes with green chilies like Rotel
1 15 oz. can
corn
1 12.5 oz. can
chicken breast, drained

Instructions

Place broth and refried beans in pan over medium heat, stir until beans and
broth are incorporated.
Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
If you like you can drain the corn before adding, I generally add the liquid to
the soup.
Ladle into bowls.
Optional: Garnish with grated cheese, sour cream and tortilla strips.
