Tomato Soup with Tortellini

🧂 Ingredients

• 2 tbsp butter
• 1/4 cup chopped white onion
• 2 tbsp minced garlic
• 1 cup chicken broth
• 1 cup water
• 2 10.5 oz cans of Campbell’s tomato soup
• 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 19 oz package frozen cheese tortellini
• 1/4 cup basil leaves
• 1/4 cup cilantro
• Salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder/salt

  to season

Instructions

• 1 Melt butter in a large sauce pan with deep edges over medium heat. Put onion and
  garlic in the pan, cook until browned.
• 2 Add in broth, water, and tomato soup. Bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Stir
  occasionally.
• 3 Stir in heavy whipping cream. Let it simmer for a few minutes on medium. Add in
  tortellini. Boil for about 5-7 minutes or until noodles are soft and floating.
  Stir in basil, cilantro, Parmesan cheese, and seasonings. Serve your Tomato Soup
  with Tortellini hot and with grilled cheese.
