White Chocolate Mousse

🧂 Ingredients

• 6 oz white chocolate

  chopped
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  cold
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 large egg white

  optional, for extra fluffiness
• 1 tbsp powdered sugar

  optional, for added sweetness

Instructions

• 1 In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals,
  stirring between each, until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
• 2 In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract with an
  electric mixer until soft peaks form.
• 3 If using, in a separate bowl, whisk the egg white with powdered sugar until soft
  peaks form.
• 4 Gently fold the melted white chocolate into the whipped cream until fully
  combined.
• 5 If using egg white, carefully fold it into the mousse for a lighter texture.
• 6 Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 3 hours
  before serving.
