Spicy Chocolate Pumpkin Pie

This spicy chocolate pumpkin pie combines creamy pumpkin, rich dark chocolate,

Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a pie plate with the prepared pie crust.
2 In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, coconut cream, brown sugar,
eggs, cinnamon, cayenne, ginger, and salt.
3 In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals,
stirring between each, until fully melted.
4 Pour the chocolate into the bowl with the pumpkin mixture and stir well.
5 Pour the pumpkin mixture into the crust and bake for 45–50 minutes, until
filling is mostly set with a slight jiggle. Let cool at room temperature for at
least 30 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator – I find this dessert is
best served after chilling for 1-2 hours (though it can alternatively be served
at room temperature).
