Nutella puff pastry flowers

🧂 Ingredients

• 1 puff pastry sheet
• 1 small egg
• 2 tsp water
• 5 tsp Nutella
• 5 tsp peanut butter
• icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

• 1 Thaw pastry
• 2 Pre heat oven at 400 F
• 3 Break egg and place in a small bowl then whisk with a fork. Add water and whisk
• 4 Using a sharp knife or a pastry/pizza wheel, cut pastry into 9 squares of about
  4".
• 5 Taking one square at a time, place pastry squares on baking paper squares.
• 6 Brush edges with egg wash
• 7 Place about 1/2 tsp Nutella in the middle of the pastry square.
• 8 Top off Nutella with about 1/2 tsp peanut butter.
• 9 Bring 4 corners together, then repeat for the sides.
• 10 Shape pastry into a ball then flip, folded side down.
• 11 Lightly press the ball with your fingers to flatten just a little
• 12 Grab a sharp knife and cut the pastry into 8.
• 13 With the help of a knife, twist the petals 45 degrees, all to the same side. The
  filling should be visible after twisting.
• 14 Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes or until pastry is golden.
• 15 Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving. Dust icing sugar - optional.
