🧂 Ingredients

1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced celery
2 cans black beans (do not drain or rinse) 15.25 oz each
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

1 Add onion, celery, beans, broth, and spices to a slow cooker. Mix well.
2 Heat on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
3 When ready to eat, mash beans with a potato masher.
4 Serve topped with fresh cilantro, if desired.
