🧂 Ingredients

4 ounces cream cheese

softened
½ teaspoon dried dill

or 1 teaspoon fresh minced dill
½ teaspoon lemon juice
white or wheat bread

thinly sliced
1 English hot house cucumber

peeled and thinly sliced

Instructions

1 In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, dill and lemon together.
2 Use a mandolin or vegetable peeler to thinly slice long slices of cucumber.
3 Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over one side of all the bread slices.
4 Layer the cucumber slices artistically over the open faced sandwiches.
5 Remove the crusts from the sandwiches. This is optional but highly recommended.
6 Cut to desired shapes.
