Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180ºC) and prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking dish by
greasing it with nonstick cooking spray.
2 In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and drained ground beef with marinara
sauce until everything is evenly mixed.
3 In another bowl, blend the ricotta cheese, grated parmesan, chopped parsley,
basil, salt, pepper, and olive oil until the mixture is smooth.
4 Begin by spreading 1 cup of the meat sauce on the bottom of the prepared dish.
Arrange 5 lasagna noodles atop the sauce, overlapping them as necessary.
5 Spread 2 cups of the ricotta mixture over the noodles and top with 1 cup of
mozzarella cheese.
6 Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients, ensuring a total of
3 layers.
7 Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the sauce starts to
bubble.
8 For an appealing golden layer on top, turn on the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes
until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
9 Allow the lasagna to cool for about 30 to 45 minutes before slicing and serving.
