🧂 Ingredients

¼ loaf of bread
1 cup cooking oil (for frying)
chip spice or salt
Atchar (A loved South African condiment made with mango, oil and a range of spices. I will share a recipe soon)
1 slice ham
1 slice cheese
1 Russian Vianna
2 handful potato chips
A variety of sauces of your choice

1 Cut out the center part of the quarter of the bread and set aside.
2 In a deep pan over medium heat, add the cooking oil and allow to heat. Test the
heat by adding one potato chip and if it sizzles, add the chips into the pot and
fry until they start to look golden brown.
3 Remove the chips from the pot and strain the access oil. Season the chips and
set aside.
4 In the same pot, fry the Russian Vianna until it looks crisp on the outside (4-5
minutes).
5 Start assembling the kota by placing the ham at the bottom and follow with the
achar, chips, cheese, Russian, and Vianna.
6 You can now top it with your favorite sauces and then use the cutout bread as a
cover.
7 Serve hot with your favorite soft drink. ENJOY!
