sweet Italian sausage links
1/2 pound
spicy Italian sausage links

onion (chopped)

bell peppers (chopped)
4 cloves
garlic (sliced)
1 teaspoon
dried oregano
1 teaspoon
garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon
red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon
salt and pepper
1 cup
jasmine rice
1 1/2 cup
chicken broth
1 can
crushed tomatoes
1 chunk
parm rind (optional)

basil leaves (chopped)
1 tablespoon
red wine vinegar
1/4 cup
parm cheese (grated)

Instructions

First, add oil to a medium high pot and place sausage links in the pot. Spread
out so the sausage browns and not steams. Cook for 3 minutes per side, take the
sausage links out of pot and cut in coin like chunks (reserve to the side).

Next, add onions, peppers, garlic powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, and
salt/pepper to the pot. Stir and let cook 2 minutes.

Now, add garlic and put sausage back into the pot. Stir 30 seconds to cook the
garlic.

Next, add the broth, canned tomatoes and bring to boil and reduce to simmer.
Cover and cook 20 minutes or until rice cooked.

Finally, stir in basil, red wine vinegar, and parm cheese. Enjoy!
