Christmas Rice Krispie Presents

Christmas Rice Krispie Presents are one of the easiest Christmas treats you can
make! These adorable little presents look great on cookie trays and kids love
them!

🧂 Ingredients

4 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
4 cups mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
red string licorice
candy sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

1 Grease a 9" x 13" pan and set aside.
2 Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat (I use my stainless steel Dutch
oven for this). Stir in the vanilla.
3 Add the marshmallows and stir well, allowing them to melt.
4 Remove the pan from the heat, and add the Rice Krispies (and candy sprinkles, if
using), stirring until all is combined and the cereal is coated with the
marshmallow mixture.
5 Press the Rice Krispie mixture into the prepared 9" x 13" pan using a buttered
spatula.
6 Allow to cool, and cut into present shapes (squares or rectangles) and then tie
each one with a red licorice string.
