Mickey Waffles

This delicious waffle recipe makes the perfect light and fluffy Mickey waffles.
Works for any waffle maker!

🧂 Ingredients

2 large eggs, separated
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups whole milk

We often use 2% and it works fine too.
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
salted butter, melted (for coating waffle maker)

NOTE: Using cooking spray on your waffle iron can ruin so the non-stick coating, so stick with butter!

1 Preheat your waffle iron.
2 Add egg whites to a mixing bowl. Using the whisk attachment on a mixer, whip on
high for about 5 minutes until stiff peaks form.
3 In another bowl, hand whisk together egg yolks, oil, milk, and vanilla. Add
flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar and mix until combined. Fold in the egg
whites using a spatula.
4 Using a brush, lightly coat the waffle maker with the melted butter. Fill with
batter depending on the size of your waffle maker. Cook according to your waffle
maker instructions.
5 Repeat with remaining batter.
