Chocolate and Hazelnut Skillet Cookie

🧂 Ingredients

• 2 sticks

  softened
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup milk chocolate chips
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 1 cup chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

• 1 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
• 2 In a stand mixer combine the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar, mix well
  on low to medium speed.
• 3 Now add the vanilla and eggs to the mixer, whisk until combined.
• 4 In a separate medium sized bowl combine the flour, baking soda and salt, mixing
  with a spoon or fork until well combined.
• 5 Add the dry ingredients to the mixer slowly, mix on low to medium speed until
  combined.
• 6 Now add both kinds of chocolate chips, and the hazelnuts to the bowl, mix by
  hand.
• 7 Spray the cast iron skillet(s) with non-stick spray.
• 8 Spoon the cookie mixture into one 10 or 12 inch cast iron skillet, or two 6 inch
  cast iron skillets.
• 9 Place in oven and bake for about 25 to 35 minutes.
• 10 Remove the cast iron skillet(s) from the oven.
• 11 You can top with ice cream, if desired. This is best served warm.
• 12 Serve with a big old hazelnut loving smile!
