Mint Extract

Making your own mint extract from a mint plant in your garden is so easy and it
tastes so much better than one you can purchase at the shop.

🧂 Ingredients

1 Wash and dry the mint leaves.
2 Place the mint leaves into your glass bottle or jar.
3 Using a chopstick or skewer, lightly crush the mint leaves as you push them down
into the jar or bottle.
4 Fill the bottle or jar up with vodka, making sure the leaves stay covered. Add
the lid.
5 Place in a dark, cool place. Every few days, tilt your bottle upside down gently
so as to mix the liquid inside.
6 After about 4 weeks, strain the leaves out of the extract and discard. Place the
liquid in a small glass jar.
