Umami BBQ Pork Bowl

Inspired by my local BBQ joint, the Umami BBQ Pork Bowl is a mouthwatering dish
that combines the savory flavors of umami with tender and juicy pork, served
over a bed of steaming Furikake rice. With every bite, the Furikake rice with
sweet soy sauce and refreshing kimchi tantalizes the taste buds, while the
succulent pork melts in your mouth, leaving you craving for more. This bowl is
sure to satisfy your hunger and leave you feeling satisfied and delighted.

🧂 Ingredients

1/4 cup Mirin
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Sugar

Instructions

1 First make the soy glaze by adding all ingredients to a saucepan. Simmer on
medium high heat until the liquid becomes a thin syrupy consistency. About 2-3
minutes. Turn off pan and set aside.
2 Take your steam rice and place onto a bowl or platter.

Add a drizzle of the soy glaze and sprinkle with Furikake.

On the side, add your shredded prepared Instant Pot Kalua Pork. Drizzle the top
of the pork with your favorite BBQ sauce.

Serve the dish with a side of prepared Kim Chi.
