Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp scampi is made with seasoned shrimp and linguine tossed in a flavorful
white wine, garlic and lemon sauce.

Instructions

1 Pat the shrimp dry, add them to a medium size bowl and toss them with salt,
pepper, 1 tsp of garlic powder, paprika, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
2 In a large skillet, heat up 1 tablespoon of olive oil and add the shrimp. Cook
the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes stirring frequently and remove them as soon as
they finish cooking and start to curl.
3 In the same skillet, add the butter, hot pepper flakes and garlic and let that
sauté for one minute.
4 Add the lemon juice, zest and white wine and bring it to a boil then reduce the
heat and let cook on medium low for 5 minutes.
5 Season the sauce with salt, pepper and 1 tsp of garlic powder and add a ladle of
pasta water.
6 Add the chopped parsley, shrimp and cooked linguine and tooss everything
together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce.
7 Finally, serve warm and enjoy!
