8 oz
cream cheese
softened
1
egg
⅛ teaspoon
garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon
salt
1 teaspoon
sugar
1 tablespoon
minced white onion
24
wonton wrappers
I used Nasoya, but any will do
oil for frying
Dipping Sauce:
2 tablespoon
soy sauce
½ teaspoon
sriracha
1 teaspoon
brown sugar
1 tablespoon
honey
⅛ teaspoon
sesame oil

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, garlic powder, minced onion, salt
and sugar. Whisk until fluffy.

To assemble the cream cheese wontons, place about 1 tablespoon of the mixture in
the center of a wonton wrapper. Lightly wet the edges of the wonton with water.
Pinch close the four corners to meet together in the center. Seal edges tightly.
Repeat with all 24 wontons. (See image above)

Add oil to a saucepan about 3 inches high. Heat to medium-high heat, about 350
degrees.

Add a few wontons at a time and let cook for about 1 minute or until golden.
Remove wontons and place on a rack to cool. Repeat with all 24 wontons!

To make the dipping sauce, whisk together all ingredients.

Serve your cream cheese wontons with the dipping sauce. Enjoy!!
