Chocolate Pudding

This is a classic chocolate pudding recipe just like Grandma used to make. Rich,
creamy, and so easy to make!

🧂 Ingredients

1 Stir together cornstarch and ¼ cup of milk in a small bowl. Set aside.
2 In a medium saucepan over medium heat, blend sugar, cocoa, salt, 1 cup of milk,
and cream. Stir constantly until bubbles begin to form around edge and pudding
begins to simmer gently. Reduce heat to low.
3 Slowly pour cornstarch/milk mixture into simmering pudding, stirring constantly
to keep pudding from burning. Stir until pudding thickens to coat the back of a
wooden spoon. Remove from heat.
4 Stir in vanilla and butter. Pour into serving dishes or large bowl. Cover
pudding with cling wrap, pressing wrap directly onto the pudding to avoid a skin
forming.
5 Refrigerate until chilled. Serve with whipped cream and strawberries, if
desired.
