Maid Rite Sliders

These maid rite sliders are a Midwest specialty made with seasoned ground beef
with a touch of sweetness, American cheese, pickles and Hawaiian rolls.

Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 350°
2 First, cook the ground beef and minced onion together in a large skillet. Break
the beef down into small pieces while it’s browning.
3 Then drain the fat and add the beef bullion, water, brown sugar, vinegar and
Worcestershire sauce.
4 Now simmer that together over low heat until the liquid has cooked out.
5 Next, cut the Hawaiian rolls horizontally down the middle and evenly spread the
ground beef mixture out over the top of the bottom half.
6 Now cover the ground beef with American cheese slices and a pickle chip. Try to
position the pickle slices in the center of each burger bun.
7 Then mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon
mustard.
8 Next, put the top half of the Hawaiian rolls back on top and spread the butter
mixture on top.
9 Finally, bake it covered for about 15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown
and the cheese is melted. Serve warm and enjoy!
