These Apple Cinnamon Gluten-Free Muffins are an excellent treat for special occasions! They are the ultimate allergen-free muffin for parties or classrooms with multiple food allergies. Most of all though, these Gluten-free, Grain-free, Egg-free, Nut-free are Absolutely Delicious!! While they use only Phase 2 ingredients, this recipe is a perfect example of one that should be used with caution during Phase 2 because the combination of two sweeteners with refined bean flour bumps this recipe into the Phase 2.5 to Phase 3 category.

View RecipeCranberry Sauce is a holiday staple in many households, but the canned variety is often loaded with sugar and lacks the substance and delicate flavors available in whole cranberries. This simple sauce recipe can be drizzled over your holiday favorites or used as a fruity dessert. My family eats it straight off the spoon!
View RecipeSweet Potato Latkes! Previously on our blog, we’ve focused on holiday recipes. This week I wanted to include one of my family’s favorite Hanukkah dishes – because what is Hanukkah without latkes? While typically made with white potatoes, I’ve been doing sweet potato latkes for years. My son doesn’t even know anything different, so to him, latkes are always made with sweet potatoes. His conclusion – they’re delicious!

View RecipeOne of my favorite parts of Passover, and usually the most sugar-laden, is the Charoset, a spicy, nutty mixture of fresh or dried fruits, nuts, spices and honey. Over the years, I have developed Charoset recipes that use fewer sweeteners yet still deliver the sweetness of this essential dish. If you don’t celebrate Passover, these are also fantastic dessert options for any occasion. Use them as toppings for yogurt or breakfast waffles.
View RecipeThis Cherry Chocolate Shake is easy to make vegan. It also doubles as a dessert! I actually had a hard time testing it because it was SO filling that I didn’t want breakfast for a couple of days. It lead me to discover that if you put a portion into the fridge, it makes an incredible pudding! This recipe works best in a high speed blender like a Vitamix or NutriBullet or Ninja or something that will puree the cashews. I added a quarter of a banana to make it sweeter, but you could leave that out if you wanted more of a Phase 1 Shake.
View RecipeSummer salads are a fantastic way to get delicious, nutritious meals without a lot of cooking. The option to add tofu increases the protein thus making this beet salad a more well-balanced AH recipe. Once the tofu is mixed with the feta, you won’t even notice it’s in there. However, the nutritional benefits will be evident in how satisfied you feel after eating it.
