Goan Sausage/Choris Pulao is a favourite at almost all Goan Homes. It is a blend of the famous and flavoursome Goan sausages known as Chevris/Choris/Chourisa and our favourite Yellow Goan Pulao! Be it parties, picnics, or occasions, A nice Big Pot of Goan Sausage Pulao will definitely be spotted on the table. Goan Sausages were Traditionally prepared only in Goa. However, in recent years, where many Goans have moved based to other countries and are unable to source these traditional sausages from Goa, due to various constraints and challenges, they have started 'making' The Traditional Goan Sausages in their country of residence! What a brilliant Idea I thought!! Like, why should only Goa have all the fun, right?? š So, very recently, I made friends with this extremely sweet & kind lady named Muriel Marshall, through a Global Goan Food Group on one of the Social Media websites. She's Goan, has been living in Perth, Australia and has been making and selling Goan Sausages since 25 ! Yes, that's right! 25years! So she happened to send me a packet for me to taste. My husband and I were left speechless at the taste and quality of the Sausages! I decided to make my favourite Choris Pulao with the Sausages that she had sent me. So here's the recipe! Dedicating this post to my new found Goan friend from Perth, Murielš

View RecipeLong distance phone calls with your loved ones donāt only last longer than you think they will, they also give some super amazing ideas to try some new stuff! So I was talking to my cousin Dalu(my 3rd or 4th cousin I still donāt know but easiest way to say cousin..hahah) and I suddenly realised it was lunch time for me and all I could see was a box of marinated chicken. So I asked her what sheād suggest I should make with that. And she gave me a beautiful white sauce recipe but Miss Lazy Bones kept knocking on my head making me think of some shortcut recipes. Suddenly Dalu says āJust make a One Pot Pulao naā⦠Use any masala u have, bottle masala maybe?? And in my head I thought of the only bottle I had in my freezer and that was the Choris Masala that remained after I made a batch of Choris last year. I followed Alves Fernandes Choris recipe. The Masala recipe is in the same blog and itās a No Fail recipe. I decided to give it a try and it turned out so so good. I found it challenging to convince the Bitter Better that there was not a single piece of Choris in the Pulao. Just the Masala Mennnnnn. But he still dug like a Gold Digger Marital advice: Sometimes youāve gotta Trust her with the Rooster! Like Come Onnnn! š So hereās the recipe..
