🧂 Ingredients

1 Wash and soak rice overnight. Next day grind the rice and make a fine paste.
(Use little water to make the paste.)
2 In a thick bottom vessel add the rice paste, coconut milk, and jaggery along
with salt to taste. Stir well.
3 Continue stirring without letting the liquid stick to the bottom or form any
lumps for about 30-40 mins.
4 When it starts to thicken it will start coming together in a sheera like
consistency.
5 Once the kheer has started to thicken add the cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
Mix well.
6 Plate it on a greased plate, press it down and even it out on all sides with a
spoon.
7 Add toppings of your choice. (Crushed almonds or pistachios). Let this cool for
2-3 hours.
8 Once cooled cut into diamond shapes and serve.
