🧂 Ingredients

2 oz Bourbon or rye whiskey

I prefer bourbon
0.5 oz Gingerbread syrup
2-3 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters
1 Orange peel
1 cinnamon stick
1 Gingerbread cookie

Instructions

1 Place a large ice cube into an Old Fashioned glass. Stir it to help the glass
chill evenly.
2 Pour in 2 oz of bourbon or rye, 1/2 oz of gingerbread syrup, and 2-3 dashes of
aromatic bitters into a mixing glass.
3 Add ice and stir gently with a bar spoon for about 15-20 seconds to ensure all
ingredients are well combined and chilled.
4 After stirring, strain the drink into the prepared glass over the large ice
cube.
5 Twist an orange peel over the surface to release its oils, then drop it into the
glass. Then add a cinnamon stick for a festive finish, if desired, and serve
immediately. If you want you may also add a small gingerbread cookie as an
edible garnish.
