🧂 Ingredients

1.5 quarts cups of chopped Kumquat (remove seeds)
2 cups of sugar

adjust according to taste
Cinnamon according to taste
3/4 cups Anise Liqueur
Water as needed

Instructions

1 Put all the ingredients in a pot except Anise Liqueur
2 Bring to a boil then simmer to low
3 Cook for 30 minutes, mix occasionally
4 Add Anise Liqueur
5 Continue cooking about 3 hours or mixture becomes translucent
6 Mix occassionally
7 Add water according to desired consistency
8 Add cinnamon and more sugar according to taste
