½ cup cream cheese
½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
12 fresh jalapeño peppers

halved lengthwise, seeds and white membranes removed
12 slices thick cut bacon

Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet or sheet
pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
2 In a medium mixing bowl, mix cream cheese and sharp cheddar cheese together
until smooth. For extra flavor, add a dash of garlic powder and onion powder.
3 Slice the jalapeno's in half, and scrap out the seeds with a spoon.
4 Take each jalapeño half and fill it generously with the cream cheese mixture.
You can also sprinkle in pepper jack cheese or Monterey Jack cheese for an extra
cheesy bite.
5 Place a half slice of bacon around each cream cheese-stuffed jalapeño, ensuring
it wraps tightly. Secure with a toothpick if necessary. Place them in a single
layer on the prepared baking sheet.
6 Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until the bacon slices are crispy and golden
brown. For best results, flip halfway through baking to ensure even cooking. Use
a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess bacon grease.
7 Let the poppers cool slightly before serving. Pair them with a side of ranch,
sour cream, or your favorite dipping sauce.
