Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

These soft and fluffy old fashioned chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are cooked to
perfection with a soft middle and lightly golden-brown crispy edges.

Instructions

1 Pre heat oven to 350 ℉
2 In a large glass bowl sift together dry ingredients. Set aside.
3 In a large bowl, mix together soften butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla
extract until well combined. The mixture should be light and fluffy.
4 Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients folding in one cup at a time until well
combined.
5 Cover bowl and put in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
6 Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and once the dough is done chilling
scoop the dough evenly and 3 inches apart on the parchment paper.
7 Bake for 12-14 minutes or just until the edges are lightly golden brown. Allow
to cool on a cooling rack.
8 Store in an air-tight container for up to one week.
