Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies

🧂 Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup 2 sticks butter, softened
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 11.4-ounce bag M&Ms in Halloween colors, divided

Instructions

• 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet and set aside.
• 2 In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
• 3 In a large bowl with hand mixer or bowl of a stand mixer, combine butter,
  granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
• 4 Whisk together until creamy, about 3 minutes.
• 5 Add in the eggs and vanilla one at a time, mixing after each addition.
• 6 Slowly pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until fullly
  combined.
• 7 Fold in the chocolate chips and 1 cup of the M&Ms.
• 8 Take heaping tablespoons of the halloween cookie dough and roll into balls.
• 9 Arrange cookie dough balls onto prepared cookie sheet, aproximately 2 inches
  apart.
• 10 Please 2-3 of the remaining M&Ms on top of each cookie dough ball.
• 11 Bake for 9 minutes, just until the edges are browned.
• 12 Let cookies cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute and then carefully transfer to a
  cooling rack until fully cool.
• 13 Repeat with remaining cookie dough.
