Chipotle Honey Lime Almonds

These almonds are spicy, tangy, and a little bit sweet all in one

Instructions

1 Whisk together all ingredients but almonds.
2 Add almonds and stir well to coat completely.
3 Preheat oven to 325°F and let almonds soak in mixture, stirring occasionally.
4 Spray a baking sheet with oil or line with parchment. Using a fork or slotted
spoon, transfer almonds to prepared baking sheet and put in a single layer.
5 Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes. Stir almonds, making sure they stay in one
layer {no almonds overlapping}. Reduce the heat to 300°F. Put back in the oven
and bake for about 12-15 minutes until lightly toasted & fragrant. Make sure to
keep an eye on them close to the end because nuts burn fast!
6 Let cool completely on baking sheet. Store in airtight container.
