🧂 Ingredients
8 oz
each red
green and white cabbage, shredded
1 tbsp
oil
1 oz
butter
6 oz
streaky bacon
derinded and chopped
2 oz
button mushrooms
chopped
4 oz
fresh white or brown breadcrumbs
2 to
matoes
peeled, seeds and core removed, chopped
pinch
of dried oregano

Instructions

Steam cabbage until just tender.

Meanwhile, heat oil and butter in a large frying pan and fry the bacon for 2
minutes.

Add mushrooms, breadcrumbs and plenty of freshly ground black pepper and fry,
turning for 5 minutes or until the crumbs are crisp and golden.

Stir in tomatoes and oregano and scatter the mixture over the hot cabbage.
