Pretzel Crusted Air Fryer Chicken Strips Recipe

🧂 Ingredients

• 2 cups pretzels
• 3/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
• 1 teaspoon garlic salt
• 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
• 2 large eggs
• 1 pound boneless skinless chicken tenders
• Olive oil spray

Instructions

• 1 Preheat air fryer to 370°F.
• 2 Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
• 3 Place pretzels in the bowl of a food processor. Process until pretzels are the
  consistency of breadcrumbs. (See note below if you don't have a food processor)
• 4 Combine pretzel crumbs, Panko breadcrumbs, garlic salt, paprika, and Cajun
  seasoning in a medium bowl.
• 5 Stir to combine.
• 6 Place eggs in a shallow bowl and whisk.
• 7 Pat chicken tenders dry.
• 8 Dip a chicken tender into the egg and shake any extra egg off.
• 9 Dredge egg-dipped chicken tender into pretzel coating.
• 10 Place coated chicken tender on prepared cookie sheet and repeat with remaining
  chicken.
• 11 Spray air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
• 12 Working in batches, arrange chicken tenders in the air fryer basket or tray so
  they are not crowded.
• 13 Air fry chicken strips for 14 minutes, until they reach an internal temperature
  of 165°F.
• 14 Repeat with remaining chicken.
