Buttermilk Chocolate Cake

Instructions

1 Preheat oven to 350. Butter and flour the pans. I used a Chicago Metallic Multi
Tier Cake Pan because we made this for our annual New Year's Eve themed movie
marathon for the theme of weddings but you can also use two standard round cake
pans.
2 In a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, whisk together the dry ingredients.
Beat in the eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla then slowly stream in the warm
water until a uniform batter forms.
3 Pour into prepared pans. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a skewer or thin knife
inserted in the center comes out clean. Unmold and cool completely on wire
racks.
4 Ice when cool.
