Kid Recipes: Easy Minecraft Cake

🧂 Ingredients

• 2 chocolate cake mixes
• Other ingredients per cake mix box/directions
• 2 8- oz. boxes cream cheese
• 4 tbsp. salted butter

  softened
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 5-6 large strawberries

  washed and sliced/chunked
• 12 Oreos

  crushed

Instructions

• 1 Mix cake mixes and bake according to package directions.
• 2 When baked, allow cakes to cool completely.
• 3 Use cake slicer/leveler to even out top of each cake square.
• 4 Mix cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar to make frosting.
• 5 Divide frosting in half.
• 6 Add Oreos to half of frosting. Mix well.
• 7 Add Oreo cream cheese frosting to top of one cake layer and spread evenly.
• 8 Top with the second cake layer, so you now have a double-layer cake.
• 9 Use a little bit of plain cream cheese frosting to smooth on the top sides of
  the cake.
• 10 Add sliced/chunked strawberries to rest of frosting.
• 11 Smooth strawberry cream cheese frosting onto top of cake.
• 12 Keep chilled in refrigerator. Serve and enjoy!
