Fudgy M&M Brownies

🧂 Ingredients

• 2 cups unsalted butter

  melted
• 2 1/2 cups cocoa
• 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 2 tbsp. vanilla extract
• 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour

  (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
• 1 tsp. sea salt
• 4 cups M&Ms

  (divided use)
• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup white vanilla chips

Instructions

• 1 Melt butter.
• 2 Add cocoa, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour and salt and mix with an
  electric mixer until thoroughly mixed.
• 3 Batter will be stiff.
• 4 Add 3 cups M&Ms and stir well to combine.
• 5 Press mixture into a greased 9x13” glass baking dish.
• 6 Spread remaining cup of M&Ms over top and press M&Ms into the dough.
• 7 Bake at 350 about 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes
  out clean.
• 8 Cool completely before adding glaze.
• 9 Place chips in a microwavable measuring cup and microwave about 30 seconds at
  100% power.
• 10 Stir.
• 11 Continue microwaving or stirring in 15 second intervals until chips are melted.
• 12 This will take about 1 ½ minutes.
• 13 Scoop icing into a zip lock bag.
• 14 Cut off tip from one corner.
• 15 Pipe glaze onto brownies.
