Millionaire’s Shortbread

This Millionaire's Shortbread is a flavor explosion! Rich shortbread meets gooey
caramel and decadent chocolate for a treat that's easy to make and impossible to
resist. We made our homemade version with wholesome ingredients for the perfect
treat!

Instructions

1 First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8 inch square pan
with parchment paper.
2 Combine the shortbread base ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir together.
3 Press this shortbread mixture into an even layer in the lined pan. Bake for 10
minutes.
4 While the crust is baking, make the caramel sauce. Combine the caramel
ingredients in a saucepan over low medium heat. Stir consistently, up to 5
minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
5 Remove the crust from the oven. Pour the caramel sauce on top.
6 Place the pan in the freezer for 30 minutes.
7 After 30 minutes, remove the pan from the freezer. Make the chocolate topping.
Melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30 second increments in the
microwave until melted.
8 Pour the melted chocolate on top. Place the pan back into the freezer for one
hour, or until the chocolate topping has set.
9 Finally, when ready to serve, remove from the freeze, sprinkle with sea salt and
slice.
