Chocolate-Mayonnaise Loaf Cake

Instructions

1 Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 1 standard loaf pan. Set aside.
2 In a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, whisk together the flour, salt, baking
soda, baking powder, cocoa, and sugar. Stir in the mayonnaise, water, and
vanilla and beat until a smooth batter forms.
3 Pour into the prepared pan and bake about 45 minutes or until a thin knife
inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes on a wire rack
then invert and cool completely on the rack.
4 If glazing, whisk together the glaze ingredients and pour over the cooled cake
prior to serving.
