Baked Chocolate Donuts

These baked chocolate donuts are everything you love about a classic donut—soft,
sweet, and chocolatey. Once they're baked, these donuts get topped with a sweet
vanilla glaze.

Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 350℉. Grease a donut pan.
2 In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, milk, yogurt/sour cream,
vegetable oil, and vanilla until combined.
3 Add the flour, cocoa powder, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Whisk until combined.
4 Transfer the batter to a piping bag or large ziplock bag. Pipe the batter into
the donut pan, filling them halfway. Bake for 12 min.
5 Once the donuts are baked, let them cool on a cooling rack while you make the
glaze.
6 To make the vanilla glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and food
coloring (if using). Dip each donut into the glaze. If you are adding toppings
like sprinkles, be sure to add them immediately after dipping each donut. This
is will help the sprinkles stick to the glaze before it dries.
