1 Wash, peel, and deseed the ripe papaya. Cut it into small cubes.
2 Place the papaya cubes in a blender.
3 Add the cold water to the blender to help with blending.
4 Add honey or sugar to sweeten the juice. Start with 2-3 tablespoons, and adjust
according to your sweetness preference.
5 Squeeze the juice of one lime into the blender for a tangy kick. This step is
optional but adds a refreshing twist.
6 Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and well combined. You can add more
water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
7 If you'd like a chilled papaya juice, you can add ice cubes to the blender and
blend until they are crushed.
8 Once the papaya juice is to your liking, pour it through a fine-mesh strainer
into a pitcher to remove any remaining pulp or seeds. You can skip this step if
you prefer a thicker, pulpier juice.
9 Serve the papaya juice immediately in glasses with ice cubes, garnish with mint
leaves or lime wedges if desired, and enjoy your homemade papaya juice!
