The Best Refrigerator Pickles

🧂 Ingredients

• 8-10 cocktail cucumbers

  can sub with 3-4 pickling cucumbers
• 5-6 garlic cloves

  peeled
• 2-3 dill sprigs
• 1 cup white distilled or apple cider vinegar
• 1 cup water
• 2 ½ teaspoon kosher salt
• ⅛ teaspoon granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
• ½ teaspoon chili flakes

Instructions

• 1 Add water, vinegar, salt, sugar, peppercorns, and chili flakes to a small
  saucepan. Heat over low, stirring occassionally until salt and sugar are
  dissolved; set aside to cool.
• 2 Slice cucumbers lengthwise and add to a 32 oz jar along with garlic and dill
  sprigs. Add brine. Brine should reach and cover with tight fitting lid.
• 3 Refrigerate for 36-48 hours before enjoying.
