Chocolate Chip Toffee Brownies

🧂 Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter

  softened
• 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar

  firmly packed
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 2 tsp. real vanilla extract
• 4 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour

  (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
• 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. sea salt
• 8 oz. pkg. Heath English toffee bits
• 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

• 1 Preheat oven to 350°.
• 2 Grease or spray 11x17” jelly roll pan with cooking spray.
• 3 In large bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs, salt and baking soda.
• 4 Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy.
• 5 Stir in flour, toffee bits and chocolate chips with wooden spoon until combined.
• 6 Stir thoroughly; this may take 4-5 minutes.
• 7 Pat dough down into prepared cookie sheet.
• 8 Bake for approximately 20-30 minutes at 350°, or until lightly browned and
  toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
