STRAWBERRY COULIS

Capture the sun sweet flavor of strawberries for use in desserts and beverages

🧂 Ingredients

1 Qt strawberries

washed and hulled
1 Tablespoon sugar

or desired alternate
1/2 teaspoon lemon or lime juice

Instructions

1 Combine strawberries, lemon juice and sugar in a blender or food processor.
2 Pulse until berries are somewhat chopped then blend until smooth and the sauce
looks glossy. Taste and adjust sweetener if needed.
3 Sauce keeps for up to 4 days in the refrigerator, or pour into two 1 cup
containers, leaving 1/2-inch of headspace at the top of the jar and freeze.
