groundnut oil
5 1/3 floz
lemon juice
1 tsp
sugar

nam pla

Fry 20 soaked and dried red chillies, 4 chopped cloves of garlic and 2 1/2 oz
chopped shallot in 2 floz groundnut oil and allow to cool. Blend to a paste with
5 1/3 floz lemon juice, 1 tsp sugar and 2 tbsp nam pla.
